Chris & Kay Baker.
Chris & Kay Baker

August 24, 2008. It is the recommendation of the Ordination Council and Deacon Nominating Committee that Chris Baker be presented to Calvary Baptist Church as deacon. He has been elected to serve Calvary Baptist Church by members of the church. Chris Baker gave his testimony to Calvary with his wife Kay standing at his side. Visitors for the ordination service for Chris included his two sons, Clay and Mitch, grandson Grant and sister Carol. The church concluded the service by giving all of the family the right hand of fellowship.

Following his testimony, He was presented to Calvary. David Koon and Glen Dunagan were elected to three year terms.

Transitional Pastor George Atherholt delivered the charge to Chris Baker followed by "laying on hands" by all ordained men of the church. Brother Chris was then presented a Certificate of Ordination by the church.
